In the age of castingshows and public selections the concept is surely very unpopular.
Are we already admist the roller-ball-era, upto person sacrifices in the name of entertainment?
For example Daniel Küblböck - at the 17-year-old, the public emotion ignites itself present-
ly in frightening degree. On public events as well as the indescribable "Promiboxen"
or the "Comet-Award", he obtained innumerable boo-shouts and was the target of just as
clumsy as narrow-minded imitators, hapless colleague and even egg-throwing contemporaries.
Such occurrences are ignored or even commercially turned to account by the
media. Even otherwise critical starling colleagues hold back in attitudes discreetly and
in the media such incidents appear falsified themselves or will not be reported at all.
Normally serious operating broadcasters and/or television stations let carry away themself
to astonishingly unqualified agitation speeches and boycott in most remarkable manner
Küblböck-songs, which are not better or more badly than thousand others.
Daniel Küblböck did not do anything to anybody, he did not harm anybody. Initially pushed
by media and an unpredictable audience, he presents himself as an artist, now - in good
belief - and over taste cannot be fought at all. Where does the problem lie?
The media
and just this public made him to that, what he is now.
It is left to them to turn their back and send him back into the desert. The way and the
manner alone is decisively! Daniel Küblböck becomes knocked off on bawdiest type and
manner - that is what makes us thinking about.
Daniel Küblböck is a person with human
feelings. No object that can be cleared away negligently. He is a person like everyone of
us with the right on personality and above all,the right on respect, accidentally catapulted
into the public light and interest. How many times can a man turn his head pretending
he just doesn't see ... banal, but so important.
It does not concern to Daniel Küblböck, only. Tomorrow it will be somebodyelse, that offers itself
himself as target for practicing the collective contempt, but momentary he is the victim,
and therewith an indication for increasing violence and narrow-mindedness. Bread and games... the
thumb directs downwards.
After finishing his entrance at the Comet-Award, Daniel Küblböck stood longtime in the back
of the stage, unnoticed at the edge in the shadow. He seemed being thoughtfully. Perhaps it
was like that because he was asking himself where the way will lead us that the public walked
on this evening. The answer my friend...
