Daniel Küblböck – Superstar of the Hearts

I wrote the following text for the webpage "mostbeautifulman" in May 03. It was accompanied by lots of pics reflecting Daniel’s beauty. Perhaps the text might be interesting for newbies. LfD

"A radiating young man entered the stage of show biz as a participant of the German version of Idols telling out loudly that he wants to bring positive energies to people in the world – quite a bold declaration for a seventeen-year-old guy – but he did and hasn’t stopped doing so ever since.

Charismatic, charming, creative, intelligent, spontaneous, witty, strong and freeeeeeee – and the lucky owner of an irresistible smile being reflected on the faces of people who drown in it, he magically has bewitched half the nation. To describe him in one word say: unique.

So, as Idols is a singing contest, how does he sing? Again: unique. What does his voice sound like? Once more: unique. His voice splits the the nation in two halves, one saying he cannot sing at all, the other going wild about his voice and his passionate way to interpret his songs. But there is no discussion about his entertaining qualities – his performances are breathtaking adventures! Reunited the nation agrees: this guy is fun, fun, fun!

Okay, but why is he on this page? See for yourself! Though still being on the edge between bud and blossom he has risen to the position of being the sexiest hotshot not only of Germany – his fame has already welled over the borders and spread all over Europe. His body is a feast for the eyes, no question about this. But the most fascinating and attracting aspect may be his oscillating between the seductive vamp and, just a heartbeat away, the cute, lovely, bright eyed child, shining like the sun. Never in my life have I encountered such a multifaceted being. He is ever new, springing fresh from the Cosmic energetic well and nobody ever knows - the least he himself - what will happen next. He cracks hearts open like nuts on Christmas and his fan base is ever growing like seaweed.

The origins of this amazing guy go back to the deep nature of Bavaria, where he visited a nursery school and passionately and successfully worked in a kindergarten before "just for fun" he participated in the Idols Contest. Without a single singing lesson he raised up to position 3 – secretly remaining the superstar of the hearts and by now more popular than the winner.

His first two solo songs "Superman" and "You drive me crazy", which are both on Daniel’s first maxi-CD are light-hearted and leave you in a contagiously happy good mood. "You drive me crazy" shot from 0 to 1 in the German Single Charts and has stayed among the Top 3 for five weeks by now – and there seems no end in sight.

A well-known concert manager who has been into show biz for over thirty years recently said about Daniel: "Daniel K. fell from heaven right onto the stage; he has got a brilliant gift and was born to be a star. You may find a talented person like him once or twice in a lifetime." Proving the truth of this bold statement, Daniel K. gave three concerts in spring which turned out to be an overwhelming success. Highly professional by nature this guy knows exactly how to enchant his audience. His second single CD "Heartbeat" has already been ordered in advance several hundred thousand times – weeks before its release. A solo album entitled – guess what? – "Positive Energy!" will follow in June. More than 60 gigs have already been settled for this year.
